Been staring at session recordings at 2am and yeah, this is killing me. Users get through onboarding fine, they're actually engaged, and then we ask for calendar access or whatever and suddenly 40% just leave.
I know benchmarks are all about model performance, but honestly the gap between "AI that works" and "AI that people actually use" is about permissions and trust, not token count. People will abandon a good agent if the permission request feels weird or over-scoped.
Anyone else dealing with this? How are you framing the ask? I'm thinking the issue is timing, not the request itself.
